Personality & Traits
| General Overview | Commander Anzai embodies many of the characteristics that Commodore Honda looks for in a Starfleet Officer: a competent, strong-willed individual with a commanding presence and a drive to lead by example. This, coupled with a keen eye for tactics, makes her an ideal fit for the role of third officer- at least at first glance. Under the surface, however, she's a short-tempered, by-the-book officer with a low tolerance for err. She is firmly of the belief that a crew is in many regards similar to a chain- it's only as strong as its weakest link. And to that end, she expects every last one of her charges to be putting in their fullest effort, no excuses. This is a well-known issue with her character that even Commodore Honda is aware of, and to that end she's been working tirelessly to help Commander Anzai reign in her temper. She is still prone to the occasional outburst, but it's now a lot better than it was just a few years prior. |

| Hobbies & Interests | -Traditional Italian Home-Cooking: Thanks in part to an Italo-Japanese upbringing, Commander Anzai holds something of a fondness for authentic Italian cuisine. She considers replicated food to be a "processed abomination," hardly comparable to the passion poured into a dish from the motherland; to that end, she prefers to prepare all of her meals by hand, utilizing only the freshest of ingredients and the "human touch" that you wouldn't typically get out of a processed meal. |
