The USS Arizona (BB-39) burning after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor - NARA 195617 - Edit.jpg

"Yesterday, December 7, 1941; a date which will live in infamy: The United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by the naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan."

It was these words, spoken almost 82 years ago by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt to a joint session of Congress on December 8, 1941 following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor the previous day that officially drew the United States into World War II, the deadliest conflict in Human history. We take this time to remember the brave Americans who lost their lives that terrible day, giving the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. As long as we continue to remember them, these men will not have died in vein.

Today here on the Myogi, we write in the universe of Star Trek; a utopia shaped by those who made sacrifices before us. Though I might have said this only a couple weeks earlier on Thanksgiving, thank you all once again for your participation and involvement in building a better future, even if it's only fiction.
