NaNoWriMo 2023 Challenge!

To all crew:
November is here, and though we're almost a week in, this means it's National Novel Writing Month! The aim of "NaNoWriMo" is to help writers write a novel, or at least a good part of it.
How does this work, you might ask? Well, all you have to do is write 1,000 words a day. That's about the size of a decent mission post here on Myogi. You can sign up for NaNo here (https://nanowrimo.org) for more information.
So, how does this concern the Myogi?
Well, this is where the fun begins:
The USS Myogi and her crew is joining our sister sim, the USS Tokyo, in NaNoWriMo. I'll be sharing updates on our Discord server as the month progresses. Here are the rules: These are to be considered in addition to our regular posting rules effective immediately.
-We MUST as a group post 50,000 words by the end of November. This will mean averaging about 1,666 words per day.
-All solo posts, joint posts, and personal logs will be added to the final score.
-Solo participation is welcome, meaning you alone would be responsible for writing 1,666 words per day.
-If you write less than 1,666 words per day, you can catch up on a later day. For example, if you only write 500 words per day over a 3 day period, you only have to write 3,498 words to get back on track.
-Participation points will be awarded as normal during NaNo, so if you're behind on your point balance, this is an excellent way to increase it and guarantee your spot for the next mission.
-Special Crew Awards will be handed out for those who participate and if we complete NaNo.
-All posts MUST be relevant to the mission or character development!
Alright, people; we're off to a flying start, but we're still six days behind. Let's get cracking on the next phase of the mission, shall we?
Regards,
Captain Maho Takahashi
