Mission: The Next Myogi
Location: Unknown

Previously, on Star Trek: Myogi:

"Perhaps another day, Miss Stokh," Chiyomi muttered half-retortingly. "But regardless of your preconceived notions, we all need to be working together if we so much as stand a chance of getting out of here alive, understood?"

"...Fine, but one more bad word about the RSDF, and I will personally show you the superiority of conscription over an all-volunteer military." Stokh stipulated.

Nodding, Chiyomi shifted her attention over to Miyoko and Touma.

"Let's get a move on," she ordered. "We're sitting ducks the longer we remain out here in the open..."

And now, the continuation:

It had taken what seemed like forever, dodging Elach patrols whenever possible, and subduing the creatures when not, but at last, the three Starfleet Officers and the Rheuysian official reached a doorway that looked important.

"Alright, I think this is it," Commander Anzai whispered. "Everyone ready?"

Stokh nodded. Along the way, they had commandeered some of the weapons from one of the Elachi patrols they had subdued, and by now, Stokh was starting to get a feel for how the weapon worked.

"Right, then," Chiyomi replied, carefully raising her crescent pistol and directing it towards the control panel. "On my signal; one... two... three!"

With a squeeze of a trigger, the control panel erupted in a shower of sparks. The doors opened to reveal a large, open space. Prominently placed within was what appeared to be a propulsion mechanism of some sort. Multiple Elachi were also within, some of whom noticed the intruders at the door and proceeded to sound an alert. One which would likely draw more Elachi to their position if not dispensed of quickly.

Thinking quickly, both Chiyomi and Stokh raised their weapons, and were able to quickly dispatch several Elachi as the four of them made her way over towards the panel that the alarm appeared to be sounding from.

As they neared the control panel, Stokh entered the grappling range of Elachi and began engaging them in melee combat. Chiyomi attempted to make a dash for the control panel, but was quickly yanked aside and began tussling with another Elachi combatant on the floor.

"A little... Help would be nice..." Stokh grunted in the direction of Miyoko and Touma, whom she hoped still weren't standing idly by and waiting to see what happened.

Eventually, Stokh reached the console. She didn't know if destroying it would silence the alarm, but nonetheless, she began ramming the butt of her weapon into the console at the spot where she had seen the alarm being raised.

Miyoko took the initiative and made her way over to the console. She beckoned her father over. "I think between us we can work this out." She said. "I'm fairly good with computers."

"Do you think you can send out a distress signal?" Stokh asked.

"Dad. Help me with this." Miyoko said. Touma nodded and both father and daughter started tapping away at the console. They were muttering to each other, occasionally pointing at different things, cross referencing and working together.

"I think we've got it." Miyoko stated.

Touma nodded. "We can get something out. But it'll be short and they'll know exactly where we are once we transmit." He warned.

"Do it!" Commander Chiyomi grunted as she continued to wrestle with her opponent. "Chances are, they're already onto us!"

After a few moments both science officers stepped aside. "She's all yours," Touma said. "Make it sweet and simple."

Commander Anzai quickly wrestled her opponent off to the side and made a dart for the console.

"He's all yours, Amabassador!" She nodded to Stokh before picking up the transmitter.

"With pleasure:" Stokh responded, putting down the assailant.

"Can anyone hear me? This Commander Chiyomi Anzai of the United Starship Myogi; I'm here with Ensign Miyoko Misaka, Commander Touma Kajimou, and Fre'Da Stokh of the Rheuysian Republic; and we appear to be on an Elachi vessel of some kind; communications between the elachi have broken down; requesting emergency beam-out for four, I repeat, emergency beam-out for-!"

It was at that point the transmitter exploded in her hands.

"Let's hope they got the message," Chiyomi sighed as she tossed the now useless device aside. "Because that was our last hope..."

"Whether they got it or not, we need to buy them as much time as possible." Stokh responded.

The next few minutes felt like a small eternity as the four of them fought off Elachi reinforcements that had been called. But at last, they were enveloped in the embrace of a transporter beam. Someone had gotten their message, and hopefully they were being beamed to safety.

When at last they could see again, the four found themselves standing in a transporter room, of Federation design. However, they weren't on the Myogi, for posted on the bulkhead of the transporter room was a historical poster from Earth's second world war, featuring five human men flanking the hatch of a historic naval vessel with five stars above them. The poster had a red border, and there was text beneath the image of the men, however, that text was currently obscured by both the transporter chief and the security and medical personnel in the transporter room:

"Get them to sickbay:" A ginger gold shirt ordered the medical team to move in before turning to the rescued: "Welcome aboard The Sullivans."

"Welcome aboard The Sullivans."

"Where's Captain Takahashi?" was the first question out of Chiyomi's mouth. "Is the Myogi safe?"

"They're both safe, but you can't go over there just yet." The transporter chief reported. "We're in the middle of an active combat zone."

Chiyomi blinked. "Active combat zone? Are we still fighting over Rheuys?"

"That's a negative:" The security lead spoke up. "We're in the Braxus system: President Ameda has suspended all talks to recognize the Confederacy of Independent Planets as a sovereign state that had persisted under previous administrations. Only way we're going to beat them is to swiftly decapitate them."

To Be Continued In The Battle of Braxus...
