Previously, on Star Trek: Myogi:
"Oh, no you don't!" Chiyomi exclaimed as she grabbed the Elachi's arm and twisted it sharply, forcing him to release the syringe. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted the other Elachi making a lunge for her; thinking quickly, she swung the first scientist into the second's path, causing them both to be flung up against the bulkhead. One of them attempted to get back up, but was rewarded for his efforts with a swift kick to the face, slamming his head back into the bulkhead. He collapsed on the ground and started twitching violently before going still, almost as if he had experienced some kind of seizure.
Still sitting against the bulkhead in a daze, the remaining Elachi pressed something in its pocket which caused an alarm to start going off before pulling a syringe and getting back to its feet, intent to subdue the subject or die trying
"Shit!" Chiyomi cursed as she realized that she hadn't been careful enough, and it would likely only be a matter of minutes before more Elachi arrived and overwhelmed her. She quickly stepped to the side before delivering a swift karate chop to the back of the scientist's neck, taking him by surprise and causing him to accidentally fling the syringe across the room. He attempted to turn back around, but before he could recover, Chiyomi had jumped up and slammed her foot into the back of his head, sending him crashing to the ground, where he also began twitching violently before going completely still.
After taking a few seconds to catch her breath, Chiyomi knelt down and examined both scientists for a pulse.
Nothing; they were dead.
And now, the continuation:
With a sigh of relief, she stood back up and directed her attention to freeing Stokh and Misaka. Seeing as the Elachi had (perhaps wisely) confiscated her weapons, she was going to have to improvise- something she had become particularly proficient at as a street urchin in the back alleyways of New Venice. Reaching over to a nearby pipe, she tugged it once to determine if it was loose, she hastily yanked it off the wall and, weilding it as a blunt weapon, she used it to shatter first Stokh's, then Misaka's tube, causing the two of them to tumble out.
"Come on," she whispered as she got down on her knees and started slapping Stokh's face in an effort to wake her up. "Rise and shine, sweet cheeks! We gotta get a move on, here!"
Despite the slapping, Stokh remained unresponsive, suggesting that she may have ingested some of the fluid in the tube.
"Come on, dammit!" Chiyomi scowled as she began performing chest compressions. "Don't make me do mouth-to-mouth!"
Fortunately, the compressions worked, as Stokh suddenly began coughing up the fluid that she had ingested as the Rheuysian woman regained consciousness.
"Ugh..." Stokh coughed as she began to sit up. "It's in my mouth..."
"Well, that officially makes two of us," Chiyomi remarked as she helped Stokh to her feet. "Apologies for waking you like this, Miss Stokh, but we've probably only got a few minutes before this place is swarming with Elachi, so we're going to need to get a move on."
"Of... Course, Your Majesty..." Stokh muttered, still notably disoriented.
Miyoko coughed a few times. The last thing she remembered was being on the Ermiana. She had been in one of the ships science labs with her father. Now she was here. "Where am... wait... where's dad?"
"Evidently, not here," Chiyomi lamented as she turned and proceeded to help Miyoko to her feet. "I'm sure we'll find him around here somewhere, but right now we have to focus on getting ourselves to safety."
"And now do you suppose...?" Stokh trailed off when she realized who it was she had been blindly referring to as the Kaiser. "Wait a minute; you're not the Kaiser:"
"I was about to say..." Chiyomi muttered, before turning to address the both of them. "Are either of you in any shape to walk?"
"I... Think so..." Stokh responded.
"I'm good..." Miyoko said. She looked herself over. "What now?"
"Ideally..." Chiyomi began as she spotted a large vent cover on the far side of the lab that looked to be just big enough for a human to fit through. "...I think it would be in our best interests to lay low until we can get a better idea of where we are."
Moving over to the vent cover, she fiddled with the frame a little until she discerned a small gap that was just big enough for her to wedge the pipe into.
"I could use a hand over here..." she grunted as she attempted to pry the vent cover loose.
"Coming, f'rau'lein." Stokh responded, moving towards the grate. "Do you want me in front or behind?"
"Behind would be ideal," Chiyomi nodded.
Nodding, Stokh proceeded to grab the exposed length of pipe behind Chiyomi.
"On three;" She said. "One... Two... Three!"
As the word Three left Stokh's mouth, the two women pushed against the pipe with all their might, and the grate came loose, clanging to the deck quite loudly.
"Alright, let's get a move on," Chiyomi ordered, quickly ushering the two women into the vents.
"Wait, the vent cover:" Stokh motioned towards the rather heavy looking vent cover laying on the floor. "They'll know exactly where we've gone if we leave the vent wide open."
"Can't," Chiyomi shook her head as she climbed in behind them. "It's too heavy; we'd be wasting valuable time."
Nodding, Stokh turned and proceeded to move into the vent. The only thing they could do now was move quickly and put as much distance between them and their pursuers as possible.
No sooner had the trio disappeared off into the vents when three Elachi soldiers entered the laboratory. Two of them quickly located their fallen comrades and discovered the two broken chambers, while the third uncovered the open vent. One of the Elachi retrieved what appeared to be a communication device and seemed to report their findings... Potentially letting whoever had dispatched them know of the escaped prisoners...
