Mission: The Next Myogi
Location: Observation Lounge
Timeline: Immediately After Part 1

Previously On Star Trek: Myogi:

"We still have a Temporal Prime Directive in this future." Ryosuke responded sharply, clasping his hands behind his back. "There is only so much that I am under obligation to share with you. As it is, I am already pondering whether or not I have given you too much future knowledge."

"If you're wondering if you've given us too much future knowledge, why are you even here right now?" Ami asked from where she sat, not pausing, "If we're not going to be let in on things, how can we, a single ship, help out significantly? It's not like we're from sixty years in the past, our technology is probably still within shouting distance at the least of yours and I'd be willing to bet my left arm that you and your chain of command aren't just going to cast us away and let us wander off to die, specifically because you're sitting here talking to us," The half-Trill gestured to Minerva, who had sat there without talking the entire time, "Are you going to let her hard work go off and get killed? Or are you going to upgrade us so we can actually make any sort of difference? To do that, Captain Takahashi, we're going to need to know things about what's going on in the here and now, even if it means taking that knowledge back with us if, and I do mean IF, we get to go back to our own time."

When, Imouto, not if,” Jane said to Ami. “When. Gotta stay positive.”

Ryosuke sighed a long and heavy sigh.

"Fine:" He grumbled. "If you absolutely must know, lest you all turn into salamanders at 0000 hours, I will confirm what the Inuto wants to know: The Federation still exists, but not as any of you might recognize it."

Deciding that now was the best time to take back control of the conversation, Ryosuke turned his attention to his slides:

"Now, as I was saying; our first priority is to get our ship's main power restored." He indicated the model of the Lafayette class Myogi-A. "Once we have our full technology suite available to us again, we will be able to render much greater assistance to your vessel:"

"Um... Ryosuke?" Maho attempted to interject.

"It won't be as pretty as work done at a starbase, but we'll be able to make sufficient repairs, and-!" Ryosuke continued.

"Ryosuke?" Maho asked again.

"What?" Ryosuke snapped with a tone of annoyance.

"I... Think my water just broke." Maho announced, fluid dripping from her chair.

And now... the continuation!

There was a moment of silence before everyone suddenly erupted in a panicked frenzy.

"THE BABY'S COMING!" Ichika shouted as she practically sprung out of her seat and rushed over to Maho's side. "Come on, Maho, we gotta get you down to-!"

"Commander, wait!" Ryosuke immediately stepped forward. "I may not know the situation down there, but your sickbay may not be the right place to handle this-!"

"Right," Ichika nodded, her brain evidently five steps ahead of the game. "Should we see about arranging a transport to your Myogi?"

"Indeed we should:" Ryosuke nodded, turning to Minerva. "Doctor?"

Minerva was on her feet in an instant, moving around the table towards the Captain in case she was needed to render assistance, "I haven't helped deliver a baby in a while, Captain, but..." She trailed off.

Ryosuke made eye contact with his ship's doctor:

"Lieutenant, could we conduct an emergency medical transport over to our ship?" He asked. If the emergency medical transporter was indeed online, now would be their time to use it.

"I've gotten a report that it is up, but not completely stable. The Lieutenant says it's good for up to two transports for sure." Minerva glanced at Maho, "Your own sickbay is a bit crowded, ma'am, mostly minor injuries, plus we are a fair bit more advanced in our own medical center."

Kurumi also rose to her feet. "Get over to the other Myogi. And take your husband with you." She said simply. "I'll take care of things here."

"No transports!" Kael insisted ''Subspace interference, remember? You'll send the baby to Jupiter" He tapped his combadge. "Kael to sickbay, it's time. I need a hoverchair waiting for us on Deck 3" Where the shuttlebay was located "Don't panic please, I assure you we have more time than you think, miss Sinclair, we'll need a pilot"

“On it,” Jane said, pulling herself to her feet. “Shuttle Usagi will be ready by the time you get there.” She bolted out of the observation lounge toward the shuttlebay two decks down.

Taking in the onslaught of information, Maho turned to Ichika:

"Commander Misono, you're in charge." She declared, turning to Keisuke. "Commander Takahashi, you're with me."

"With all due respect, Maho, I'm not asking to accompany you as your Executive Officer," Ichika protested. "I'm asking to accompany you as your friend."

Maho pondered Ichika's request:

"Alright," she sighed, turning to Kurumi. "Computer, transfer all command codes to Lieutenant Commander Kurumi Ebisuzawa. Authorization Takahashi 2-4-6- Omicron-1."

The computer beeped in acknowledgement.

"Command codes transfer complete."

"Keep her together while I'm gone." Maho instructed Kurumi.

Keisuke nodded. No hesitation on where he was meant to be at this time. They had been rehearsing this with Commander Scott for the last few weeks. The only curveball was that they were going to be leaving the ship.

"Then let us be off!" Keisuke declared.

Seeing the Captain standing made it clear they had less time than Kael hoped. But still more time than it looked they had.

"Nice and steady commander, she just needs to reach the turbolift. The hoverchair is waiting for us there" Kael's attention was now diverted between the couple.

"You hear that, babe?" Keisuke asked. "We just gotta get you down to deck 3."

"Okay... Okay..." Maho responded as she tried to keep her breathing steady.
