Mission: Indivisible

Previously, on Star Trek: Myogi:

Misaka struck the tactical console with a clenched fist. The last two phaser strips had failed. "Well, I guess that's it then old friend." She muttered as she lightly tapped on the wooden horseshoe. This had been her ship for twenty five years and this may be her final moment.

And now, the continuation:

[USS Europa]

The Operations console chirped.

"Captain, I've got a lock on Captain Misaka," the Ops Chief reported.

"Beam her out! Now!" Rize ordered.

"Activating emergency transporter buffer;" the Ops Chief Announced as she keyed the commands into her terminal. "Stand by..."

You could've heard a pin drop as the bridge crew anxiously awaited news of Mikoto's whereabouts. One second passed. Then two. Then three. Then four...

=A=This is Transporter Room One,=A= somebody radioed in. =A=Captain Misaka has been successfully extracted; we're administering care to her right now.=A=

Rize breathed a sigh of relief before another jolt quickly snapped her back to reality. "Tactical, what's the status of our shields?!?!"

"Shields are down to sixty percent." The tactical officer reported.

"Are all escape pods accounted for?"

"In order for Doctor Takahashi to have his emergency triage in the hangar, we've had to clear off deck space as pods have come in and been offloaded." The Tactical officer reported. "The Sullivans has also diverted to pick up pods and shuttles."

Rize sat back in her chair and let out a sigh of relief. "Helm, get us out of here, max impulse; if the Ermiana does go off, I want as much distance put between us as possible!"

[USS The Sullivans]

"Out, out, out!" Commander Onuei said to the helm officer with an apologetic glance at Captain Bluegarden, but while the helmsman had done a really good job at getting them through the battle, she analyzed the upcoming maneuvers and knew that there was no way to talk them through it. She slid into the seat, which left her feet dangling above the ground and selected her presets with the ease of long practice.

Hard light and torpedoes still flashed between the Federation ships and the steadily reducing Confederate ships, all around where the Ermiana was floundering on the border of core containment breach. Shirley was an instinct flyer and she immediately took them to nearly maximum impulse as her eyes and brain digested the 3D cacaphony around them. The remains of a smaller Confederate ship spun ahead of them, but in a looping maneuver that would certainly strain the Excelsior-class starship, she avoided it, jinking past a trio of torpedoes that had clearly been targeted on them.

"Ops," She stated offhand, "Get those escape pods transported into our cargo bay and herd the shuttles on vector three three one mark two six five. It was an eyeball figure, "All shields to max, reinforce aft shields in sixteen seconds! Forward tractor beam to wide beam outwards." As a few glancing phaser strikes were absorbed by the shields, she let one finger hover over the tractor beam activation, slaloming them onto the exact course heading she'd ordered the Ermiana's shuttles to take, then pressed the button. The shuttles were accelerated as The Sullivans used a maneuver designed by Captain Bluegarden to expedite getting small craft out of danger quickly. Ermiana could still get targeted again by a Confederate ship, and unprotected as she was, wouldn't take more damage before blowing.

[USS Myogi]

The number of Starfleet signatures on the flight control console — namely all of those shuttles and escape pods that had been dangerously close to the soon-to-blow Ermiana — had dropped considerably thanks to the swift action by Europa and The Sullivans. “Captain,” Jane reported, “It looks like the Ermiana evacuees are accounted for.”

"The Ermiana took out their last command ship. The Elachi seem either confused. They're falling out of formation." Kurumi reported. "It's like cutting the head off a snake ."

"Incoming transmission from one of the Elachi ships:" The Ops officer reported. "Audio only."

"Put it through:" Maho ordered.

=...n anyone hear me?= came a garbled voice. =This Commander Chiyomi Anzai of the.... p Myogi; I'm here with... we appear to be on an Elachi... of some kind; communications between... have broken down; requesting emergency beam-out for four, I repeat, emergency beam-out for-!=

"Locate the source of that transmission!" Maho ordered. "NOW!"

"I have a fix on it, but we're out of transporter range." Kurumi reported. "However The Sullivans is much closer."

"Transmit the coordinates of that Elachi ship to The Sullivans:" Maho ordered. "Tell them they've got four more people to rescue."

"Aye, sir:" The Ops officer responded

[USS The Sullivans - Bridge]

"Copy that, Myogi:" Violet acknowledged before turning to her helmsman. "Helm, bring us around to the coordinates received from the Myogi," Violet gave her first real orders of the engagement. "Start scanning for life signs: We're looking for three Humans and one Rheuysian. Ops, once we get a lock on those life signs, we'll need a transporter hot and ready!"

"Aye, Cap." Shirley remained in the helm's seat, pausing for a moment before she slewed The Sullivans into another hard turn on the designated heading settling into another unpredictable set of jukings for any remaining Confederate ships to have a difficult time engaging her.

"Captain, the signal is coming from that ship." On the main viewscreen, an Elachi ship was outlined as it fell out of the enemy formation, breaking hard towards the outside of the group in a clear bid to escape.

"They aren't getting away." Shirley growled as she visually scanned the formation and other ships on the field, maxing out the impulse drive to close the distance faster, "Be ready to pull them out, Ops, damn that ship is going fast.."

"Sirs; we've identified four non-Elachi lifesigns on board: Three Human, one Rheuysian." The Ops officer reported. As the officer was reporting, her display lit up: "Transporter room four has a lock on them!"

"Execute!" Violet ordered.

[USS The Sullivans - Transporter room four, deck 6]

The order had just come down as the Chief operating the transporter powered it up and engaged the transport of the life signs he had a lock on. Security and Medical were just arriving to the transporter room as four outlines appeared on the transporter pad, and in a flash of light, Commander Chiyomi Anzai, Lieutenant Touma Kamijou, Ensign Miyoko Misaka, and the Rheuysian Fre'Da Stokh fully materialized.
